Pokémon GO: What to Expect from the November Community Day Classic

November Community Day Classic is a big event for Pokémon Go, even despite having about a thousand other events every year. This year, it will take place on November 5, at 2 PM, and last for three hours, until 5 PM local time. These three hours are not to be missed if you want to find Dratini, a Dragon-type Pokémon that appears in the wild rather rarely… but now your chance is high.

Dratini is the basic level Pokémon and it can evolve. Usually, it evolves into Dragonair, but this day has a special feature. If you evolve your freshly caught Dratini before 7 PM, you will get a Dragonite. This Pokémon is one of the most popular of Kanto regional forms, and the Community Day version of it will have Charged Attack Draco Meteor. No matter if you use it in Raids, Gyms, or Trainer battles, it will have 150 power. Yet it will also lower the regular Dragonite’s Attack.

And it’s not about plain Dratini only, though with a little luck, you’ll be able to find the Shiny version of this Pokémon. This celebration also offers you bonuses like Lure Modules, Incense that lasts for three hours (just the length of the event), and 3x Stardust for successful catches. In addition, there is a snapshot surprise, which is for you to see yet.

Indeed, there is little new to see this day. Experienced Pokémon Go players may already have their Shiny Dragonite, but this is a chance for new players to catch up with masters. This is, essentially, what Community Day Classic is for: revisiting the best days and catching up with the best of the past. And Dratini (as well as Dragonite) definitely is one of the best.

Are you already scheduling your November 5 as to spend these three hours Pokémoning? Got your Shiny Dragonite already? Have you ever enjoyed any of previous Community Days? Share your experience with us in the comments if you please!
