With each year it is getting more obvious that Instagram needs more businesses to survive. Compared to TikTok and YouTube, it is popular among companies who want to promote or sell goods there. Yet, the social network has to keep up with the latest trends. Recently it announced the new features that will be released soon. They are called "Discover popular places nearby" and "Find product via Instagram Camera".

Instagram was created back in 2012. Since that time it changed focus from users to content creators and back. Owned by Meta, the former Facebook, Instagram now concentrates on businesses, helping them to reach the audience and to promote goods. Nowadays the company offers a wide set of tools that may help small and new businesses to promote themselves and reach users.

Compared to other social networks businesses feel comfortable on Instagram. They can sell their goods, promoting them via photos and videos. Instagram also offers detailed instructions on how to start a business there. Many big companies started their journey on Instagram. Before businesses are able to create websites with enough customers they prefer to reach potential clients via social networks. Instagram is trying to hold companies inside by providing them with numerous tools.

For example, Instagram created a new feature last year that allowed users to search for the contact information and location of companies they need. Companies can search by tags the people who are located in the area as well. Users can find nearby businesses based on the location. You can see this feature near the discovery tab. It is called Map Search. Tap it, choose the service you need, and you will get the detailed information.
